When learning a new language, no matter how much you know words or grammar, the important thing is to be able to communicate in that language. I remember starting to learn English as a compulsory subject since primary school and after 4 or 5 years in school I still wasn't able to have a proper conversation in English.
Being Vietnamese teachers, we find it very satisfying and heart-warming when our students can finish a whole conversation or a talk in Vietnamese. Here's to share with you one of our students Lois's message to Ha Anh - her teacher - who's been sick for a few days.
